From the Founders

Some of our earliest memories are rooted in Bangkok's vibrant culinary culture. Bustling morning markets, neighborhood noodle shops, late-night street vendors, family gatherings, and generations of recipes are woven into everyday life—and have deeply shaped who we are.

When the opportunity came to open a restaurant in the quiet neighborhood of Pleasant Hill in February 2024, we knew we wanted to share a bit of Bangkok’s charm with the Bay Area. Rather than focusing only on the Thai dishes and drinks that are already familiar locally and around the world, Saneh Bangkok is our way of bringing the community closer to the flavors, traditions, and memories that defined our upbringing in Thailand’s capital.

Our menu reflects a piece of Bangkok's rich culinary diversity, thoughtfully reimagined in a contemporary setting while honoring the heritage and stories behind the food. We hope you enjoy our take on Thai cuisine: Thai nostalgia fused with a modern flair.
